Kent S. Leung, a Psychology graduate from the University of British Columbia (UBC), made his mark in the entertainment world with a stellar debut as Jack in the acclaimed Canadian indie film "John Apple Jack," earning him a Best Actor nomination at the California Independent Film Festival alongside Oscar winner Richard Dreyfuss.

Venturing internationally, Kent played the romantic lead in the Pakistani feature "Chalay Thay Saath," which was available on Netflix. This put him in the record books as the first-ever Chinese actor in Pakistani film history.  

Kent also played pivotal roles in the popular Chinese TV shows The Way We Were and Guo's Summer alongside celebrities Yan Tang and Lei Huang, respectively. 

In 2023 alone, Kent showcased his versatility by hosting the Discovery Channel's "The Culture Diaries", starring in the Sony-funded short film "Mirage" (directed by Michael Liu of "Wandering Earth 1 and 2" acclaim), and winning “Best Actor” at the 48 Hour Film Project Competition for his performance in the film Five Alive.

Kent honed his craft under the guidance of Vancouver's top acting coaches, including Daniel Bacon, Matthew Harrison, Ben Ratner, and Craig March, while also benefiting from the expertise of renowned LA acting coach Tom Todoroff.

Beyond his acting prowess, Kent is also an award-winning director and filmmaker, lending his creative touch to brands like YSL and Wedgewood. 

After co-founding Cozmikk, an entertainment company specialising in training and representing foreign actors in China, Kent has now seamlessly added the roles of acting teacher and coach to his repertoire. Driven by a passion for sharing experiences and helping others, teaching became a natural extension for him, revealing yet another facet of his love for the craft. 

His journey exemplifies a seamless blend of diverse roles, capturing the essence of his dynamic and thriving career in the entertainment industry. Best of all, this journey is far from over.
